“What makes me optimistic? Your mind is like a parachute; it only works when open. If we are, as we are all an average of the six or so people closest to us, then we should surround ourselves with positive people who are growth-mindset oriented.”
The wisdom Tony Surtees generously shared with me.
Tony also told me, "I truly believe that optimism - tethered to reality- is the main key to progress. We have all witnessed unimaginable miracles and breakthroughs in our lives. We are only constricted by an absence of goodwill and imagination."
Tony contributes to Australian leadership in many ways, including as Chairman of the Entrepreneurs’ Programme Committee, a Member of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Action Plan Programs Committee, and a Director of the Menzies Foundation.
