Choosing Happiness - it's a fascinating topic. I am blessed with a happy disposition and throughout all adversity enjoyed the nickname “Smiley.” My speeches and writing have been about optimism and leadership. In corporate environments and public speaking, I always tell my audiences that regular yoga and meditation enhance optimism. Like Sister Shivani, I say that what you listen to and watch impacts on your mind. Don’t wake up to the news on your radio. Optimism underpins happiness, and in preparing for this event, Sister Shivani sent me a quote on optimism which some of you may have seen. No matter how noisy your life is or how muddled your mind is. Listen to your inner voice, whispering – “Everything is perfectly placed.” That voice knows. It raises your hopes, feeds your wisdom. It teaches you the language of Optimism. Unconditional Optimism is the Soul of your Faith. Allow it to cover what you cannot comprehend.
