Who's Bill Lang? Bill's a business educator, coach and advisor with over 30 years of experience across a range of industries and countries. Small business is in his DNA; his parents’ small business journey inspired him from a young age, and he is a passionate supporter of business leaders of all stages and sizes - particularly new and small business. His business journey began with ‘Dr Dog’, a hotdog start-up formed with fellow Melbourne Uni students. He was hooked. Soon after graduating as a Baker Scholar from Harvard Business School, Bill co-founded two internet businesses that culminated in a $120 million global alliance with AT&T and British Telecom."

Who's Nicole Griffin? Nicole is the General Manager of Morwell Innovation Centre and is excited about supporting the transition of the local economy. Prior to commencing at Federation University Nicole spent eight years in the water industry working for both Southern Rural Water and Gippsland Water as General Manager Assets and Environment and General Manager Business Development. Before joining the water industry, Nicole spent a number of years in the Biotechnology sector working for Monsanto both in Australia and the Asia Pacific region. Nicole is also on the board of Quantum Support Services and is passionate to help support the continuation of the valuable work they do in the Gippsland community. Wife of one, mother of two, full-time employee, small business owner, board director, treasurer of a sporting club and kids sports coach. Nicole loves the simple things in life: Born and raised in Narrabri North West NSW.

Who's Sherman Mak? Sherman is a multi-disciplinary strategist, advisor, investor and entrepreneur. He has over 25 years of investment banking and advisory experience. He has held senior appointments in global strategy, marketing, human capital and product development. With a range of international brands, such as Citigroup, HSBC and Westpac. He personally advises a number of private family wealth offices, government agencies and some of Asia’s largest companies. Some of his clients include; Indonesia’s largest telco Telkom Group and one of the worlds largest vertically integrated conglomerates Charoen Pokphand Group. Recently he is involved in building one of Australia’s first full licence digital banks and an AI big data research company with international partners in Victoria. In the area of innovation and mentoring, Sherman is an innovation mentor for both the CSIRO and the department of defence DSTG. Additionally, he sits on the advisory board of several of their early-stage spin-off companies. He is also an industry mentor for Griffith University. Some of the countries where he has worked and trained include Singapore, England, Ireland, United States and Australia. His philanthropic areas of interest include; Autism Awareness, Economic Empowerment, Education, Geopolitics, Diversity and Poverty Alleviation. He is a patron of the Head Foundation Singapore and Outback Academy Australia.
