framed in times of abundance and optimism
"framed in times of abundance and #optimism"
An interesting phrase from author Satyajit Das in his article, "Without radical tax reform, Australia faces an insoluble public finance problem"
Satyajit wrote, "#Australia’s social contract, framed in times of abundance and #optimism, promises significant government services and financial support for citizens. But an ageing population means fewer taxpayers and greater demands on the public purse."
I founded The Centre for Optimism as a response to increasing negativity and the "fog of pessimism."
The Australian Leadership Project had found there was pessimism in a land of abundance.
Is Satyajit right? Are we in post-optimism Australia?
