A Million Voices of Optimism

We ask people "What makes you Optimistic?"   One of our strategic goals is to stimulate and collect one million voices of optimism.

In this blog collection of optimism on the way to "A Million Voices of Optimism," members and subscribers of The Centre for Optimism can post what makes them optimistic and the answers from people they have asked.

"Optimism is a wonderful thing" says Kevin Richert

Kevin wrote, "Optimism is a wonderful thing.  And at the dawn of a new legislative session, optimism is an abundant commodity.  So it was Friday, when Senate President Pro Tem Brent Hill addressed the Statehouse media corps and said lawmakers would need only a few weeks to work their way through reviewing agency rules, before proceeding to the other business of the 2020 session. The Rexburg Republican was feeling so optimistic that he even compared the rules process to Y2K. "

"What makes me optimistic is the future that Australian Agriculture has - despite the tough times it is currently experiencing. The optimism comes from the people, the land, the communities & their collective will and spirit to have a go and to get up and go again if they trip over."
Tony Mahar, Chief Executive of the Australian 'National Farmers Federation'

Tony tweeted that to me in answer to my question, "What makes you Optimistic?"
