Waterable's Hour of Optimism

At the Centre for Optimism, we have celebrated wonderful Hours of Optimism around the world and our Hours of Optimism celebrated with the water sector have been inspiring: The Water Industry's Hour of Optimism and The Water Industry's Young Leaders in an Hour of Optimism.

WaterAble is a network for people with disability and their allies in the Victorian Water Industry. WaterAble brings people with disability in the water industry together; Supports people with disability to progress in their careers; Improves inclusion and access for employees and customers with disability; Advocates for members Shares good ideas and practices across the industry to support the employment of people with disability; Promotes disability pride; and, raises awareness about the rights of people with disability.

The Chair of WaterAble Donald Hughan was one of the stars of our The Water Industry's Young Leaders in an Hour of Optimism.

We are honoured to welcome the realistic and infectiously optimistic Helen Vaughan, Deputy Secretary Water and Catchments at Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning.
