Melbourne's second lockdown isn't fun: People are groaning. As Caroline Overington said in The Australian, "Mask use in Melbourne is up, but the mood is very low"
The Centre for Optimism commends you surround yourself with optimists.
Professor Paul Cooper is going to be the first person to be asked for his stories of hope and optimism. It was his LinkedIn post on the miseries of lockdown that spurred our team to add a daily face-to-face event.
Given the Centre was born in Melbourne and is HQed there, we'll be trying to do something every day of lockdown that lets you surround yourself with optimists and share stories of hope and optimism.
In this morning tea with Victor Perton as virtual "tea-lady", we'll ask everyone to share a story that gives them some hope and optimism and what makes them optimistic through the pandemic and beyond.
When you register, you will receive the Zoom Link to join us on Monday morning.
