Two weeks ago, Dementia Australia's CEO Maree McCabe joined The Centre for Optimism in Conversation on "Dementia: The Case for Optimism" (Video https://youtu.be/8V_DS3qj8-U)

It was hugely popular and in this webinar, Dementia Australia advocates Bobby Redman and Keith Davies will join Maree and the Centre for Optimism's Victor Perton & Robert Masters for a further discussion on dementia and optimism through the eyes of an advocate.

Bobby Redman is a retired psychologist, living on the Central Coast of NSW.  Bobby who was diagnosed with fronto-temporal dementia, in 2015, is determined to improve the lives of people living with dementia and is passionate about her consumer advocacy work with Dementia Australia.

Keith is a retired primary school principal who lives in Leura NSW. He has been caring for his wife of fifty-six years, Bev, who has dementia, for the past thirteen years. For the last five years, Bev has been in residential care, and Keith continues to help with her care, including spending time with her each day.
