"**Model Optimism and Happiness"** isRandy Cale's advice in an article, "[Dr. Randy Cale’s Terrific Parenting: Building optimism, happiness & positive emotions](https://www.saratogian.com/2022/12/11/dr-randy-cales-terrific-parenting-building-optimism-happiness-positive-emotions/)."

Why should we do so?

Randy advises, "Optimistic adults experience more success in their lives. Teams led by genuinely cheerful, optimistic managers outperform those led by grumpy bosses. These general findings have been reproduced numerous times.

"But there’s more: optimism and happiness infuse health into our lives since we take fewer sick days, suffer from fewer serious illnesses, and live considerably longer. When we inject everyone with joy, it’s nothing but a massive win for our family."
