Many Glimmers of Joy: Jonathan Chrimes

"Optimism is a mindset where one harvests their many glimmers of joy and then uses them to act as an inoculation against the nadirs of daily life."

I asked Jonathan Chrimes what makes him optimistic.  Jonathan told me,

"Optimism can be developed or is a natural predisposition.

"Optimism is a mindset where one harvests their many glimmers of joy and then uses them to act as an inoculation against the nadirs of daily life.

"Any surplus joy is then reinvested and used to project a more charming picture of the future in one's mind's eye.

"This view allows us to grow a stoke for life and see opportunities as they arise.

"It creates a positive reinforcement loop that improves us and leaves us gruntled.

"In turn, our positive vibe sends a ripple to others that are receptive to it."
