"What makes me optimistic is believing in the fact that what happens, happens for the best. We may not see it now, especially during tough times, but I know for a fact that the dots always connect backward. Optimism to me is about following your heart and hoping for the best."

That's what [Mallika Ramchandani](https://www.linkedin.com/in/ACoAACtiYMYBDb9e4eKXOfOQLzJQDvCdqkeyexY) told me when I asked her what makes her optimistic.

Mallika is Project Coordinator at Information Management Integration and Cultural Co-ordinator at the [RMIT University](https://www.linkedin.com/company/rmit-university/) Indian Club.
