Marija Dremaite, Vilnius University wrote, "Optimism is not a new architectural style or one more “ISM” nor is another modernist movement among the many that emerged and took shape in postwar World War 1 Europe.  Optimism is a state of mind.  It is an outlook - an expression of faith and hope that the outcome of one’s efforts will be both positive and desirable."
